Manaia (Guardian Figure)
This double headed manaia represents the guardians of spiritual energy, the concept of tapu and noa (sacred and common). Traditionally they represented the aura; they expressed the characteristics and the spiritual nature of people.

This is the first public showing of this collection of designs.
